HON. ANIFIOKE GEORGE
Dr Aniefiok George is currently the Director, Policy, Planning and Strategy as well as Head of Academic unit of African School of Diplomacy and International Relations. She is a highly accomplished professional with expertise in policy development, strategic planning and international relations. With a deep commitment to promoting global understanding and collaboration, she plays a pivotal role as the Director of Policy, Planning and Strategy.
Had worked in the Oil and Gas Sector. Served in several companies in Human Relations; Public Relations and Administrative Functions. Also, had a stint in Public Service/Governance, a Public Speaker on youth development, gender/child abuse issues, mobilization & empowerment of grassroot women.
A trained Geologist. Holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Public Relations & Advertising and a Master degree and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Gender Studies and Youth Development. A self-motivator with sterling leadership qualities. Has good analytical and organizational skills. A team player and mobilizer who enjoys challenging tasks. Craves for more knowledge; learns new things.
She is passionate about Youth Development, Girl-Child Education and Women Empowerment. Over the years, she has trained women on topical issues such as, Girl Child Education, the Adverse Effect of Early Marriage of the Girl Child in the Northern part of Nigeria and Self Actualization as a girl-child. She has also worked with the Government of Akwa Ibom State in the Office of the Secretary of the State on Administrative Matters, Youth Education and Women Empowerment. She is the CEO – Thinkel Consult Limited and Founder/CEO of Food 4 Life Enterprise.

Her career drive spans across the local and international shores as she has worked as a Coordinator – American Corner/Public Relations Officer (Bola Ige Information Technology Center from 2004 – 2010), promoting the services of the Center to potential beneficiaries, coordinate training programs, supervise trainers, etc. She was one of the two Nigerian women nominated (2007) to attend the International Visitor Leadership Program of the United States Department of State on ‘Women as Political and Economic Leaders’ in Iowa, Virginia and California USA. She is married with children, has over 25 years post NYSC robust work experience.
