NAWA-Org. Joins National Campaign to End Gender-Based Violence: Advocating for Change

National APC Women Advocacy Organisation NAWA-Org. actively participated in the flagging off of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence on November 25, 2024 with flagging off event. This significant event, aimed at amplifying the call to end violence against women and girls, was spearheaded by the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs at the Ministry Headquarters in Abuja. The Director-General and some leaders of the National Working Committee (NWC) proudly joined the Honorable Minister at the ceremony, marking a united front in this critical advocacy.

Today, November 26, 2024, we continued this commitment with a deliberate and purposeful walk alongside the Honourable Minister to the National Assembly. This walk symbolizes our shared resolve to address and eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls in our nation. The Honourable Minister, who serves as our first point of reference in this cause, exemplifies the dedication and excellence required to drive this mission forward. Her exceptional track record inspires confidence in her ability to achieve meaningful change.

Together we can create a safer, more equitable society for women and girls across Nigeria.
