Dr. Amina A. Kundiri, the esteemed founder of the New Advocacy for Women Advancement Organization (NAWA-ORG), is a professional with expertise in higher education administration, banking, procurement, and human resources. She specializes in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Data Analytics. Over the past decade, Dr. Kundiri has been instrumental in directing and overseeing the delivery of high-quality services within both the financial and higher education sectors. Her leadership & contributory roles at NAWA-ORG, Community Action Platform, and The Peace Institute are a testament to her inspiring achievements. A pan-African, Dr. Kundiri was recently nominated as an ambassador of the Affiliation of the AU Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly and is serving as the chairperson of the Political Affairs working group of the affiliate Assembly.

In addition to her leadership role at NAWA-ORG, Dr. Kundiri is one of the pioneering executives behind the philanthropic foundation Community Action Platform—a comprehensive physical and digital framework system designed to unite individuals, organizations, and stakeholders. This platform fosters resource-sharing and coordination to address local challenges, enhance social outcomes, and drive collective action to empower community members at the grassroots level to create meaningful and lasting social impact.

Dr. Kundiri also served as the Summer camp Director of the Peace Institute for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) in Nigeria. The Peace Institute ( TPI) is an American organization that brings together pupils, youth, mothers, academics, non-academicians, and influential leaders—from political and religious figures to community activities. The Institute focuses on developing strategies to improve the lives of women, children, and vulnerable populations, fostering a safer, healthier, and more productive society.

As a registered member of NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW), Dr. Kundiri is deeply committed to advancing Nigeria’s small, medium, and industrial businesses. NNEW, an initiative under the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), empowers women to embrace entrepreneurship and achieve holistic well-being while positively impacting their communities.

Member,  Business Visa & Training Co. Ltd, an organization set up to support creating an enabling environment for 100% made-in-Nigeria products and services to gain access to the global market.

Additionally, Dr. Kundiri founded the Federal University Dutse Women Association (FUDWOSA), an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women within the university community. FUDWOSA’s initiatives focus on promoting female students’ and staff’s psychological and physical well-being through various outreach and social responsibility projects. The association fosters networking and collaboration among women, stakeholders, and the broader community. It also organizes cultural and social events to celebrate women’s achievements, supports the establishment of childcare centers and gym facilities, and provides financial assistance during weddings and bereavement to promote social harmony and engagement.

During the March UNITED NATIONS Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), Dr. Amina Kundiri attended the parallel programs held at the Nigerian House in New York City. The program focused on women’s empowerment in agriculture and integrating Artificial Intelligence to address food insecurity and

Additionally, Dr. Amina attended the ISMOR MOGORO foundation event at the Salvation Army in New York City. This event underscored the necessity of creating pathways for women’s economic and social advancement. Dr. Amina supported the dialogue on empowering women to achieve lasting societal impact through her presence and contributions community.

Dr. Amina Kundiri’s commitment to community outreach extends through her partnerships with various charitable organizations. One notable collaboration is with the Hope Alive Foundation through its Connect Care project, where she has contributed to providing Medicare for people with special needs and empowering widows with the resources to establish their businesses.

Through NAWA-ORG, Dr. Kundiri envisions a future where women across all communities have the tools and opportunities to break barriers, foster social change, and uplift one another.
